Tapis is an original woven fabric from Lampung society. Lampung is a tribe and province in Indonesia. Tapis motif is made from gold color yarn. Tapis has many motives, for example: animal motif, plant motif, human motif, and calligraphy. The most popular motif is calligraphy motif. Motif is sewn by hand, without sewing machine.

Tapis is usually used for wedding or custom ceremony. In past time, tapis is a symbol of high class society.

We provide tapis that it is used for wall decoration. It has to be framed, then put it on wall in the your living room or other room.
